We have reached a little so called agreement in the apartment not to go out on Saturdays since that means you can spend the entire Sunday awake and it will give you that extra day to relax and get some energy until the new week starts. I am enjoying this since it’s nice to wake up in the morning without a headache, but apart from that, I must confess that it is giving me more anxiety than energy. I am a major procrastinator and even if I know I have 5000 things I need to do to prepare for the new week I just can’t focus enough to get them done. Therefore, my new hangover free Sundays makes me bored out of my mind which results in me trying to fill it with absolutely useless things that I normally wouldn’t do during the rest of the week.
So here is a small list of the things I did wrong with this Sunday:
1. For some reason, since I did not have anything better to do on the Saturday evening I decided to prepare food for the next day = huge mistake. This is something you should do during weekdays when you actually do not have any time to cook.
2. Woke up in the morning and was determined to write a to-do list for the day so I would get the important things done as early as possible, but ended up watching TED talks such as THIS ONE to inspire myself to become productive. This had the complete opposite effect on me since it made me want to do everything at once which as usually failed miserably.
3. Decided to clean my room and in the middle of my mission decided that it was a great idea to take everything down from the shelves and sort it out into different categories, which of course left a even bigger mess than I started out with.
4. I had so much time on my hands that I decided to make this absolutely useless blogpost.
